Since 2012, only cohabitation agreements have been drafted solely by a notary. The parties may agree on the effects of a cohabitation agreement on succession. This is a question of agreement between the parties. Also with Law 4495/2017, the notary is the one who is competent to draw up the authentic instrument for amicable divorce.
